Ecowool is glass wool specially designed for roof insulation. The new generation of glass wool is manufactured with the highest thermal insulation to help the house get the comfort needed. When installed, the insulation creates a barrier that prevents heat from passing through, keeping the house cool on hot days and keeping cool air inside.
Preeminent features - Optimum size mineral wool fibers: A diameter of about 4 - 5 microns creates more small air pockets to improve insulation efficiency.
- Better knitting yarn system: Slender, longer and evenly distributed yarn provides resistance to traction so it's more durable, flexible and feels soft. - Less dust and itching: Specially designed for insulation comfort and low dust. So it will not cause discomfort during construction
- No mold: Does not create an environment for bacteria, mold or rodents. Sound Absorption: Has exceptionally good sound-absorbing properties. Designed to reduce rain noise through roofs in industrial, residential and commercial buildings. The sound-dampening performance of insulation can significantly reduce rain noise compared to a metal roof. It also blocks noise from the metal roof's expansion due to the sun's heat.
- Corrosion resistance: Not chemically active. Does not cause or accelerate corrosion of steel, stainless steel, copper or aluminum due to its special inorganic and mineral composition.
- Ability to prevent steam: Special inward facing coating allows long-term steam protection. A properly installed insulation board will help minimize concerns about condensation.
- Non-combustible properties: Ecowool has undergone the following fireproof tests:
• B.S. 476: Part 4 is not combustible to materials
• B.S.476:Part 6 Non -fire spread
• B.S. 476: Part 7 Non- surface spread
• BOMBA Class “O” • ASTM E84
