Glass mineral wool acoustic panel. Built on ECOWOOL technology, the acoustic ceiling panel is manufactured from almost 80% of recycled glass cullet. It is aesthetical and decorative suspended ceiling system, specially designed for selective and distinctive applications, where acoustical (sound) control is crucial and paramount.
Areas of application. As decorative, acoustically effective suspended ceilings for indoor use and in covered outside areas that are not exposed to weather such as rain or environmental pollution. Ceiling panel is installed on an exposed or concealed grid suspended grid system, creating a ceiling with smooth appearance. Each acoustic panel is easily demountable.
Products. There are 3 main products, standard product Polytone, premium product Classictone and specialised product Cineplextone for cinema acoustic application.
Variations.
- Square lay in panels are available faced with printed glass tissue on the front
- Square lay in panels are available concealed with printed glass tissue on the front, harden and painted edges and white glass tissue facing on the back

Sustainable product. PGF Insulation is committed to providing environmentally sustainable products. Acoustic panels are free from CFCs, HCFCs, and any other material with ozone depleting potential in their manufacture/composition content, and present no known threat to environment. Made from nearly 80% recycled glass and locally sourced materials. Product is perfectly in tune with sustainability and environmental concerns. It is compliant with most Green Rating tool ODP emissions credit requirements. Air quality is maintained with total Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions below quantifiable level.
Advantages.
Mould growth. Does not encourage growth of mould, fungus, bacteria, or rodents. Tested in accordance with ASTM C1338-08.
Corrosiveness. Chemically inert. Will not cause or accelerate corrosion of steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminium due to its specially inorganic and mineral composition. Tested in accordance with ASTM C665-12.
Optimal fiber diameter. Optimal fiber diameter ranging from 4-5 micron produces more air chamber which enables insulation to provide a better and enhanced performance.
Better fibre network. Fine, longer, evenly distributed network helps in creating better tensile strength allowing the insulation to demonstrate superior durability.
Alkalinity. pH 9
Water vapor absorption. Absorb less than 5% of weight. Tested in accordance with ASTM C1104.
Odor emission. Does not emit unpleasant odor. Tested in accordance with ASTM C1304.
